1. Preservation Commitment Framework

Because our home breeding program focuses on the ethical preservation and responsible placement of live animals, our policies differ from standard retail operations. We prioritize transparency in all placement matters.

2. Baseline Adoption Fee

A uniform preservation cost recovery fee of $850 USD applies consistently across all active puppy placements. This fee directly funds parental orthopedic screenings (OFA/PennHIP), DNA sequencing, veterinary health certificates, microchip registration, and early sensory stimulation protocols.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Application Review: There are no fees associated with submitting an initial adoption application.

• Placement Approvals: Once an applicant is approved and matched with a specific puppy, any commitment deposits or processing balances applied are strictly non-refundable. This standard prevents unstable placement cycling and secures the puppy’s welfare.

• Health Guarantee: If an approved puppy is diagnosed with a severe congenital or genetic defect by a licensed veterinarian before final placement, all applied fees will be transferred toward an alternative puppy or refunded at the discretion of our administrative team.

4. Health Guarantee Details

Every puppy placed by Fluffy Bear Cubs comes with a 30-day health guarantee. If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a congenital or hereditary condition that significantly impacts the puppy’s quality of life within 30 days of placement, we will work with you on a fair resolution.
