Fluffy Bear Cubs is a small, home-based Cane Corso preservation program in Kansas City, Missouri. We raise one to two litters per year, with every puppy handled daily in our home from the day they are born.

Our puppies are born in our living room. They are socialized with our family, exposed to household sounds, and handled daily. By the time they leave, they are confident, well-adjusted, and ready for their new home.
Health Testing Is Not Optional
Every breeding dog in our program is OFA Hip/Elbow Clear, Cardiac Clear, and DNA tested for NCL-1, DSRA, and JLPP. We provide full OFA tracking numbers and DNA panel results to every approved family. You are welcome to verify them independently.

What We Breed For
We do not breed for color trends or volume, We breed for:

Health: We only breed dogs that have passed their OFA hip and elbow evaluations, cardiac clearances, and full DNA health panels.

Temperament: We focus on the Cane Corso’s classic stable, confident, and discerning nature. Our puppies are raised with daily handling and socialization.

Structure: We aim to produce dogs with the correct, heavy-boned structure and athletic ability that the breed was originally developed for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you ship puppies?
We coordinate hand-delivery via licensed ground transport to approved homes only. Additional costs apply and are calculated based on distance. We prefer local pickup in Kansas City when possible
Q: How much is the adoption fee?
Our baseline preservation placement fee is $850. This fee covers parental OFA and DNA testing, veterinary health certificates, microchipping, and age-appropriate vaccinations. It is a flat fee with no hidden charges.
Q: Are Cane Corsos good with children?
When raised with children and properly socialized, Cane Corsos can be excellent family guardians. They are naturally protective, so early training and clear boundaries are essential. We evaluate each puppy’s temperament and will only place with families who understand the breed’s needs.
